I've decided I don't want to buy a house yet. Because if you buy a house, you've settled down to adulthood. No more moving whenever or wherever you want, or changing jobs because you're tired of them. A house means you've got all the questions answered and the future all sewn up.
Newsflash: none of this points to Toni. She is a Freaked Out, Insecure, Neurotic and Emotional wreck. (directly taken from "The Italian Job")
I'm still in college, there's no guarantee that I will even get a better job after I graduate. I'll end up making sandwiches again in some deli on the edge of town. Why can't I just stay in school until I have a skill that's marketable? (meaning 'forever,' because who wants to learn important things?)
I could definitely stay in an apartment and be quite comfortable until all these problems are solved.

Down with learning important things! Vivé history degrees!
I second that. And, there is some financial wisdom in choosing to rent a cheaper place and then investing the difference of what you would be paying in a mortgage into some sort of high-interest bearing account. Jethrobyn sent us a great article along those lines. They should post it.
I think you guys are doing a good thing. You have a great little apartment right now. Enjoy it, and stay away from those mortgage lenders!
Funny. That's sort of my view on marriage.
