Last Week of Classes

It really bothers me when, in a class of over 25, just a few pedantic and/or socially inept students can ruin the entire class for me. People that just keep raising their hand and talking for over 5 minutes about glaringly obvious principles and ideas. Or people that don't even raise their hands but think they're helping us all learn by repeating almost exactly what the professor says all the time.

Eventually in these classes I get to the point where I have to distract myself enough so I don't accidently yell out loud at them that no one cares and we would all be better off if their vocal cords were removed. Or I might just walk out of the class when they start to save my sanity.

It's hard to learn when I spend most of the time dreading that these people will pipe up, and the rest of the time trying to distract myself while they do talk.

If this is a little harsh for you, I'm sorry. I just have to get this stuff out of my system.
ps. in my random google images search, this picture came up...from Canyon Crest Elementary, Provo

Isn't there at least one of these in every class? I had one in my web design class last semester and I swear we spent three weeks longer on one project just because of his incessant interruptions. Mostly it was reiterating what the professor said or making her repeat over and over how to do simple things. Ergh!

Bring a taser to your classes next semester...that will solve everything!

That's my school! Canyon Crest Crusties! errr.. Cubs!
Also, I agree with you fully. I think that those people are inconsiderate. There is someone in every class, and I also don't like it. It's college for goodness' sake!
