
So, it has come to that point in the summer where it becomes perilous to drive your car. It's so hot the steering wheel melts your skin when you touch it, and as it turns out that is a necessary function of driving.
I refuse Air Conditioning, even though I wanted a car that had it (because I never had before). I just don't like how it burns through the gas which I'm trying in vain to preserve.
Anyway, the moral of the story is, better get some oven mitts in your car if you plan to drive in the middle of the day.
