When Emily Cutler and I went to Moab in May she told me that she hates birds because they don't have arms and then proceeded to run like a chicken
I hate birds too, but not because of their lack of arms, but because they are full of disease.And also they WILL peck your eyes out
I had a friend in high school who was terrified of large groups of birds congregating, especially the ones on telephone polls. She thought they looked as though they were plotting something malicious.
I think the cat is trying to welcome you to the neighborhood by leaving part of its dinner for you.
If I still lived in Texas I would tell you how much I would love to see one dead bird in particular. But I don't so I don't like dead birds either.
