Here is a thoroughly baby post, I wouldn't expect much else from me for quite a while.
Journal Entry 2-28-08
Well, Anna has been alive for 1 whole week now - here are some things to note about this precious child.
- Everyone says she's beautiful - she looks extremely cute especially for a newborn. She never got that conehead look or very splotchy skin.
- She is very well behaved. We could leave her in her crib by herself and if she didn't have anything to complain about, and if we didn't like holding her so much, she would be fine. she never wants/needs her pacifier. Grumma Sue thinks she is the most well behaved and content baby she has ever seen.
- People are already picking out traits and claiming if she will look more like me or Ben. Her dark hair is, of course, Ben. She has very dark eyes, almost black, I think they will go brown eventually, another for Ben. Her nose has been declared almost unanimously mine - it turns up at the end. Her lips and mouth I have always thought - since I first saw her - are Ben's, same shape.
- She is a fast learner, she learned how to nurse very quickly, she is working on long sleeping periods. She has also learned to tolerate her bath.

I love the second pic. She's ah-dorable. I've never been able to look at someone's nose and tell whose it is. I think people just make it up to flatter the parents.
Wow, I love that picture of her. I don't think you should have to apologize for writing stories about your baby. There is nothing wrong with that. She is beautiful, and I'm sure the most wonderful thing you have ever made! I say if you want do ten posts a day about her, then do it!
About the speculation on who she looks like, at least with Lincoln, it changed depending on who was holding him. It still does! Either way, she is gorgeous, so I say she took the best parts of both of you.

She is beautiful. It reminds me of Clark when he was her age and we told the doctor that he never cries and he is a very even-tempered baby. He said, "He'll learn".
He has. Hopefully Anna won't learn from him :)
it's true, she learned how yesterday when she realized just how hard digestion can be.
