Not a Baby post

I finally finished the shirt-quilt I was working on for Ben.

He kept getting inexplicable holes in the left elbow of his work shirts so I saved them up until I got a sewing machine and made a little quilt.
The gray and the back (a blue shirting) are the only fabrics I bought, and instead of tying it, I sewed on buttons from the shirts. For the binding I used the button strips on the front of the shirt, but they don't look great.
anyway, it was a fun project, one thing to note is that it wrinkles easily - who'da thought?

Wow. Um, wow. That's a project beyond my scope in a large way.

Toni, that looks fantastic! I'm very impressed. I guess quilting is a genetic trait.
