Overcompensation

I got a haircut yesterday.
I find it ironic that the hairstylist can put 5-6 different products in your hair and your hair still feels very natural and un-product-y.
But when I try to put even one bit of product in my hair it invariably makes my hair both look and feel nasty.

Probably because as an amateur, I want to make sure that the product is going into effect, and I can only tell when I can see or feel it in there, and by then it's too late.

Product is always better at the salon. Even when you buy the exact same product they used on you...it's just not the same. Maybe it's their nails.

And the best part is that the first people to comment on her new do were our Institute teacher and a girl named Wendy.
