Some new things

I promise I won't make this blog all about my pregnancy. Promise.
But I have to tell you that morning sickness is not all it's cracked up to be.
I was sick all day yesterday so I got the prescription filled that my doctor gave me for excessive nausea, a mix of unisom and vitamin B6. I took one before Ben and I went to dinner (Jason's Deli, a fine place, Ben recommends the salad bar) when we got back from dinner, I went straight to bed. at 6:30. I woke up at midnight for a snack and to get Ben to come to bed, then I woke up at 6:30 am and decided 12 hours was probably enough for one night, so I got up and studied for my test on Friday.

Jason's Deli salad bar = perfection

Also, if yesterday was any indication Ben is going to have evenings free for the next few months, so feel free to drop by.

Okay. This was my process of finding out you were having a baby seeing as how I didn't read the comments where you said "we're having a baby". First I read ben's blog which was extremely cryptic. I knew Moon Unit Zappa but no idea how that tied in. So then I thought that maybe you were expecting a moonunit of your own but then I read that it was winter of 2008. My mind connected winter to the november/december time. So I had to rule out a baby because who predicts over a year in advance when their baby will be born? You're not even pregnant for a year...!
Anyway, a few days later I finally read the comments and it all made sense and winter can also be Jan/Feb/March time. So in conclusion, congratu-freakin-lations.
P.S. Weirdly enough, I didn't ask you at Summerfest if you were pregnant which is probalby a first since you got married. Of all the times not to be nosy...!

I'm sorry Toni...I understand. A good remedy for daytime morning sickness are ginger pills. You can just take on or two during the day. It calms down the tummy, and doesn't have weird side effects given it's ginger. Or you could just eat ginger snaps, that would be better!

Build and eat gingerbread houses. Three every day. Doctor's orders.
