I extend a hearty welcome to my nephew Clark on entering this world just this morning. It's a crazy one.
We moved into our long anticipated apartment today. We will be sleeping in our long lost bed tonight and relish the thought.
As I was just sitting in said bed, I turned a CD on and listened to "I Can Tell That We Are Gonna Be Friends" by Jack Johnson, you might know it as the opening credits to Napoleon Dynamite by the White Stripes. I love this song, it's simple melody and innocent lyrics. I thought about young Clark and how innocent his world is and will continue to be for a few years yet. I thought about a good friend, recently jilted in love; if only the world could continue to be as simple and innocent as that song...

Hey Toni. So, could you give me a hand and tell me how to link other bloggers to my blog? That would be funtastic.
Congratulations Miss Toni! It's like Clark's posing perfectly in all those pictures. With his little hand behind his head and everything. He's a cutie. I'm glad you're an aunt like I am.
Hey, I'm an auntie too now! Little Nathan Hinckley, born Feb. 8th at 10 lbs, 15 oz. He's humongous.
I had nothing to do with your friend's jilted love. For the record, I have not spoken with the "jilter" in several weeks. Because I live in Logan.
Hooray for Toni and Clark and your bed (not hooray for your sad, broken mirror)!
Clark already likes you SO much. He's going to be the best nephew in the world. He'll probably be ready for visits next weekend! He just nursed like a champion (we are still in the hospital and are totally elated).
Maybe he'll come home tomorrorw or the next day.
In a way...that is very inspiring!
Don't let Jan's comment confuse you. I AM THE FAVORITE AUNT!!!
