Here's the deal. I really want to cut my hair short again. This frightens Ben to no end. Others have pointed out that the inability to put my hair in a quick ponytail will severely limit my hair-doing proficiency.
So I've struck a deal.
Starting last Friday I made the deal with myself (and Ben but he doesn't really care and he's still against it) that if I can wake up early enough to actually do my hair for 2 weeks, and save up my allowance, I can get a haircut. So far so good, I even did my hair over the weekend. I'll keep you posted. And if you have any ideas for ways to do my hair other than straightening with random bobby pins stuck in, let me know.

Here's the deal--I'm cutting my hair in about 1.5 hours. Short and sassy.
It would be really nasty of me to say "Eat your heart out" here, wouldn't it? So I won't say it.
And I have no comment on your hairstyle. I say you do something cute with it. Or don't do something cute with it. Whatever.
Ben won't like it, but this is what I do to keep my hair styled: whenever I notice it is getting long enough that I have to spend time doing it in the morning I have it cut. Short.
You could try that.

Toni, I first want to see a picture of the current hair style. As of that I haven't seen you for... 3+ years. But, DON'T DO IT you can always pretend your hair is short by pulling it up, but you can't really pretend that its long. Anyway, that's my thought.

Your hair is gorgeous long. No one has healthy hair like you--keep not blow drying it and you'll be good.
I like to get a big round curling iron and curl everything, it doesn't take to long and it kind of falls out immediately, but it gives some body and curl to it--just a hint. (as if I was talking about adding nutmeg to alfredo sauce).
I think you should keep it long--its really nice.
Ha. You would think that took me a long time, but you forgot I just sit at the computer all day long at work. Next week I'm working almost forty hours...plan on truckloads of witticism coming your way.
