Generally when we sit down to a meal Anna will eat a few small bites, get bored and ask to get down.
Today watching Peter Pan sitting on the couch she has eaten (so far)
2 bowls of cheerios
3 forkfulls of my cup of noodles
2 handfuls of raisins (and is asking for more)
It's a really bad habit to promote, but is it worse than having a 2 1/2 year old that weighs 20 pounds?

Honestly? 20 pounds? I'd be giving her cream cheese shakes intravenously if that is what it took (in front of the TV).
at my last drs appointment she stepped on the scale after me and it said 22.7 or something. fully dressed.
Maybe instead of snacking in front of the TV, that's where she could eat her full meals.
Still not the best habit to promote, but at least she wouldn't be bored.
Personally, I think it's great that she only weighs 20 pounds. She is obviously healthy, and has plenty of energy. She's past the stage where it's ideal for her to be chubby, so as long as she's in good shape, why not enjoy the fact that she won't be on Biggest Loser: Toddler Edition with Bob and Jillian and the gang?
