Consistency

I wouldn't say I'm a perfectionist, I don't have any skills that way, but I am a bit of a stickler when it comes to organization and consistency.
As we've discussed earlier, in Toniland, everything would be on shelves and hooks, only similar things together, no mixing, in order to prevent confusion.

Unfortunately, we do not live in Toniland. yet.

In coloring books, when I was younger, I never liked mixing mediums, like stickers and crayons, or even markers and crayons. I thought it gave it all a very unorganized look. That's why I have such a hard time scrapbooking now. I set off doing a bunch of scrapbooking with the supplies I have, I'm okay with mixing mediums now, but they styles are what I have a hard time with. I can't just go to a craft store and buy some highly stylized chipboards or rub-ons or diecuts (a pretty gruesome term if you think about it) because it would ruin any vibe I might have had with the pages I have already made, and I don't want to go through my scrapbooks later and have an obvious break in which I use super fancy things for awhile until I run out then go back to the plain and precious. It just doesn't work that way. So I either have to stop scrapbooking altogether, or buy everything and try not to forget how everything works together, or just deal with whatever crappy style I have now and abandon all hope for having cute pages.

I gave up on scrapbooking because I take too many pictures and I just kept getting further and further behind. Sigh. Now I'm the furthest behind.

i am no scrapbooker myself, so my cousin told me about www.blurb.com, and you can make a book of your blog. That way its kinda like your journal/scrapbook. i plan to try it out at the end of every year. just an idea. also i have tried digital scrapbooking and it is easy to keep stuff organized b/c its all on the computer so its awesome! no mess!
