As a Sunbeam teacher in the ward, I feel it my duty to share the hilarity that ensues each week while trying to teach 3-4 year olds the gospel.
Easter Sunday, the other teacher (we team teach) was teaching a brief history of the life of Jesus. At the end of the lesson she passed a small stuffed animal to each child and asked them to share one thing they know about Jesus. One little boy, a visitor, was so excited to get the toy thrown to him he couldn't hold still: "me me! my turn!" so he gets it...but he can't think of anything to say about Jesus.
So he makes something up.
"He turned into a MONSTER!!!" he says getting up from his seat with his hands held above his head, making the international symbol for monster.
I couldn't help but laugh, but the teacher calmly told him that wasn't right and he had to think of something else.

I can't see for the tears of laughter in my eyes. Oh goodness.
I just read your story to my coworker Catherine. We think you're hilarious.
My sister-in-law used to teach Sunbeams and it was always great when she came home from church so she could call and tell me the day's stories.
My favorites:
*"Sister Monson, who would win in a fight -- Jesus or Heavenly Father?"
* "Ummm...Sister Monson, do stars really have smiley faces?"
(referring to the sunshines drawn on the board as part of the lesson on the sun, moon, and stars)
