Ahh Spring, let's hope. Cakes

Welcome to spring, I love spring. I was recently reading in a textbook an excerpt from a Daoist Treatise about the seasons and came across this,
The three months of Spring are called the period of the beginning and development of life ... After a night of sleep people should walk briskly around the yard; they should loosen their hair and slow down their movements; by these means they can fulfill their wish to live healthfully. During this period one's body should be encouraged to live and not be killed; one should give to it freely and not take away from it; one should reward it and not punish it.
I really like this last part, so I'm not going to punish my body by withholding that which it loves, and I won't punish it by rigorous exercise or anything.
This is an example of the Great Toni Lifestyle: I'm apt to take pieces and parts of whatever Dogma suits me at the time and ignore anything contrary to what I want to hear.

Toni, you're living on a slippery slope.

It's a fortunate thing you had a good mother. She trained your body to want things that are good for it. (Like not drugs).

That would kill my body, thus it will not be used. You have to look at both sides of everything
