Record Keeping

(This is not supposed to be of interest to the general public, this is more of a record keeping entry.)

We sat down tonight with the girls and tried to list all the words in Eliza's profoundly limited vocabulary. She's over 2 years old now and we struggled and split hairs and were able to only list around 50 words/animal sounds. (Luckily she supplements with lots of grunting and pointing.) And here they are:

If we ever move to UT I think we'll purposely move close to you, because I really think Michael and your girls would get along.

I actually wish that I had done a record keeping similar to this with Michael. So--good jorb.

It makes me wonder how many words we use that are totally unnecessary. Her pointing, waving her hand and grunting usually get her exactly what she's after.
