How to get assistance while shopping at Home Depot:
1- wear a baseball cap
2- wear a dirty sweatshirt and/or carharts
3- have facial hair
How not to get assistance while shopping at Home Depot:
1- have three kids with you, including a baby in a sling
2- try to push the cart with two kids in it with one hand while you support the one in the sling
3- look completely lost in the lumber section.

Next time, you need to just throw back your head and scream good and long until someone comes running in. Then be all like, "Oh, what? Yeah, I tried the normal ways to get service and they weren't working. And where do you keep the caulking?"
I actually really considered that when I was waiting at the cutting center.
