First Birthday Party Pictures

For Eliza's 1st birthday we made some chocolate cupcakes with a dollop of frosting. I feel I should describe them because the sippy cup is in the way.
She loved it and ate the whole thing. Her sister just ate the frosting off of hers then asked for another one.

I found only 2 pictures of her opening presents, this blurry one and a non-smiling one. She was spoiled by her grandma's who gave her toys and books, I gave her a homemade dress that is too big for her and a crochet giraffe that I was promptly put into a toy chest and I have not seen it since. Her sister got her a bouquet of flowers and a squishy dinosaur.
So, that was Eliza on her birthday. They are both getting cuter everyday.

I wish it was acceptable to spend my birthday in a state of undress.

I feel weird about Randi's comment. But here's my comment: the good news about a too-big dress is she will grow into it! And then out of it! But the second part isn't as good of news... Will you make me a crochet dress? But one that fits, please.

The dress is not crochet, the giraffe is. I am planning to do a post on the dress someday. You will see.
