This time, in honor of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, we attempted Challah, the traditional braided bread. And since I was already at my mom's house working on a quilt, we held Bread Tuesday there and I credit that decision with much of the success.

YOU MADE CHALLAH AND IT TURNED OUT?!
I can't believe my eyes. I could eat challah with every meal. I'm slightly overwhelmed with envy. Is your recipe good?
it is good and very easy.
I googled "Challah recipe" and it was like the 4th, from recipezaar, or something.
Toni you are pretty much a domestic goddess. I am impressed and awed by your talents.
I missed it!! I wanted to come, but we went to a friends for dinner. How about we do bread thursday...Jethro will be in Parent teacher night all night.
While it is delicious dipped in honey, I am prepared to only spend the time on Challah once a year. P.S. put up pictures of your quilting project also!
Happy New Year! Beautiful bread!
Very impressive! I'm so jealous of your bread making skills!
Wow. That is beautiful! I'm in a bread funk right now. Everything is coming out bricks.
